We in the UK take for granted the fact we have constant clean piped water to our house, and the fact we have indoor flushable toilets.
Did you know that 60% of illnesses seen in South Sudan would not be present if everyone had clean water and good sanitation?
Some villages have no access to clean water. A borehole would transform the lives of the community and resolve many of the health problems that arise from drinking dirty or contaminated water.
Our next goal
To raise enough to fund a repair of a borehole (about £2,500) or to provide a new borehole for a village without a good water supply. (£9,000).
